Global Account Manager

As a medium-sized family business with more than 1400 employees ARGO-HYTOS has more than 70 years of experience in Fluid & Motion Control and Filtration technology in mobile and industrial hydraulics. Especially in the mobile hydraulics sector ARGO-HYTOS has developed into one of the innovation leaders. ARGO-HYTOS develops and produces hydraulic components like filters and filter systems, valves and power packs for fluid motion control, oil maintenance and oil diagnostic systems, oil condition sensors, stationary and portable particle counters and monitors for online oil condition monitoring and condition based maintenance as well as and customized system solutions. With production companies in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, India and China as well as numerous own distribution and assembly companies, the ARGO-HYTOS Group is active worldwide.

In order to strengthen our Group Account Management Organization we are looking for a Global Account Manager. The Global Account Manager is the key interface between the Global Account’s entities and the ARGO-HYTOS organization. The global coordination and lead of the business and relating ARGO-HYTOS activities, troubleshooting as well as the development & maintenance of a sustainable global business relationship are the primary tasks. The Global Account Manager is a cross-organizational function and directly reports to the Head of Group Account Mngt.

Your Tasks:
  • Coordinate & lead the global strategy approach & activities regarding the Global Account business
  • Manage and interpret all new businesses and associate knowledge to achieve all organization objectives.
  • Globally establish & maintain productive and professional business relationships
  • Develop business leads, opportunities and wins
  • Responsibility for global pricing and contracting
  • Coordinate and monitor projects / business worlwide, in order to meet customer expectations and project time lines
  • Responsibility for the global customer satisfaction and measures to maintain the same
  • Visits at relevant customer plants worldwide on a regular basis (together with local sales force)
What do we expect:
  • Bachelor, Master or Dipl.-Ing. degree (Engineering, Business Economics or similar)
  • 5+ years of experience working in Key Account Management / International OEM Sales
  • Excellent negotiation and business relationship management skills
  • Record of dedicated and successful teamwork, excellent interpersonal and diplomatic abilities
  • Distinguished analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Self-independent, pro-active and structured way of working
  • Product knowledge and industry experience in the field of hydraulics / fluid power preferable
  • Fluent English and German - oral and written
  • Travel approximately 50% (national and international)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, SAP, CRM system
