dem Umland weiter auf dem Kurs für die
Neuansiedlung von zukunftsorientierten
Unternehmen zu liegen. Mit Verantwortung
– für den bevorzugten Naturraum in dem wir
leben – und mit Weitblick – für eine starke
zukunftsfähige Wirtschaft und attraktive Ar-
beitsplätze.
Ganz oben auf der städtischen Agenda steht
für die kommende Zeit der Stadtentwick-
lungsplan, den wir in enger Zusammenarbeit
mit Ihnen, der Bürgerschaft, auflegen wer-
den. Ziel ist, Radolfzell als Wohlfühlstadt al-
ler Generationen voran zu bringen und weiter
auszubauen.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
liebe Neubürgerinnen und Neubürger,
ich darf Sie ganz herzlich hier in Radolfzell
am Bodensee begrüßen. Eines ist sicher – Sie
haben eine ausgezeichnete Wahl getroffen
und ich bin mir sicher, dass Sie hier in unse-
rer schönen Stadt eine neue Heimat finden.
Radolfzell am Bodensee, übrigens die einzige
Stadt mit diesem Zusatz, ist als anerkannter
Erholungsort attraktives Urlaubsziel und le-
benswerter Wohnort zugleich. Mit optimalen
Rahmenbedingungen und einer sehr guten
Infrastruktur für alle Bedürfnisse.
Familien können sich auf ein engmaschiges
Betreuungskonzept verlassen. Die Möglich-
keiten erstrecken sich von der Kinderkrippe
für unter 3-Jährige bis hin zur Ferienbetreu-
ung an allen Grundschulen. Ergänzt wird dies
durch abwechslungsreiche Freizeitprogram-
me für Kinder und Jugendliche, die tatkräftig
von einem sehr aktiven Jugendgemeinderat
begleitet und unterstützt werden.
Auch wirtschaftlich entwickeln wir unsere
Stadt und ihre Infrastruktur stetig weiter

Ladies and gentlemen,
Dear new citizens of Radolfzell,
I would like to give you a warm welcome here
in Radolfzell am Bodensee. One thing is cer-
tain – you have made an excellent choice and
I am sure that you will soon feel at home in
our wonderful town.
Radolfzell am Bodensee, the only town on
Lake Constance to have this addition to its
name, is not only a recognized health resort,
but also an attractive holiday destination and
a great place to live. It offers ideal conditions
and an excellent infrastructure to meet all
needs.
Families benefit from reliable childcare ran-
ging from crèches for the under-3s to holi-
day clubs at all primary schools. In addition,

children and teenagers can take advantage of
a wide choice of leisure activities, accompa-
nied and supported by our very active local
council that represents the interests of young
people.
We are continuously enhancing our town and
its infrastructure in economic terms, too. By
offering companies that want to grow exciting
possibilities directly at the centre of town as
well as in the suburbs and the surrounding
region, we are on course in attracting inno-
vative companies. With responsibility for the
natural landscape in which we live, and far-
sightedness for a strong sustainable econo-
my and attractive jobs.
At the top of the town’s agenda in the near fu-
ture is an urban development plan, which we
will be setting up in close cooperation with
you, our citizens. The aim is to promote and
further develop Radolfzell as a great place for
all generations to live.
